The Mighty Super Heroes 1 Alfred Pennyworth knew that as bad as things had been. That it wasn't over. It was a feeling that he had, and was rarely wrong when he felt it. Maybe it was the fact that Bruce had been down. After the death of Bane he lost a little hope. Alfred had been blown away by Bane's plans to turn things around. Everyone had been excited about the plan, and nobody had been able to poke holes in it. He was incredibly knowledgeable and he was using his strategies to benefit Gotham City. Batman had double checked the stats. Bane had the facts. There was a Gotham-Metropolis connection. There were crimes and gangs controlling sections of the interstates. The old highway as well. Jim Gordon had known Bane was right, and that his guys were afraid of those gangs. Alfred chuckled as he continued to think. If they knew what it was that turned Bane around they'd have a fix.
